I can’t remember when I played the Vintage Vibe 73 E-Piano the first time. But what I do remember that it was at Frankfurter Musikmesse. And since then I always wanted to have one….
After all these years, finally this January I could make that dream come true and order a Vintage Vibe 73 passive model.
It is difficult to describe how elated I was (and still am) when this beauty arrived; especially after previous nightmares. I have to admit that my sounds in Yamaha’s CP1 digital piano haven’t been bad at all (please listen to the demos on my soundcloud), but once you’ve played the real thing you feel and hear the difference.
Here is a first short demo I recorded, right after unpacking and connecting to a PreAmp and recording the first tones into the DAW:

Unfortunately my monitor is not calibrated, so the photos don´t do the colour justice: the wonderful and beautiful Royal Blue Sparkle.
Thanks to all of you at Vintage Vibe! You did a great job and this instrument sounds like it looks, simply stunning!
